How we made a child disability in Anapa. Part two.

Having received the cherished conclusion of Krasnodar specialists, we again came to our psychiatrist in the clinic. We received from her papers that need to be filled out, a list of documents that need to be picked up, and a form for passing the commission. The case was December 3. If you are undergoing a medical commission for disability registration, then you can not sign up to doctors, but go through a live queue. If your child calmly tolerates a visit to the clinic, then you can go through all the experts in a day. It will take almost the whole day, as the doctors accept and by appointment and queue no one canceled, but this is quite possible. The second option, if you want to get doctors as quickly as possible, is to use paid services, but only in the clinic, and not in the paid clinic. Since we were not in a hurry, and also because of the fact that Alisa did not stand up for a long time in the clinic, we signed up for all the doctors in 2 weeks, dividing all the visits into 2 days.

We went around almost all the doctors (speech therapist, psychologist, ENT specialist, optometrist, surgeon) and went to a neurologist, where they learned that while we were recording and being examined, the forms had changed and we had to go to a psychiatrist and bypass all the doctors in a new way to transfer the conclusions to the new form . Of course, I was upset, but I had nothing to do to go to our Natalia Vladimirovna. Indeed, it turned out that the forms had changed and the records had to be transferred. Thank you for taking over the psychologist and speech therapist, and we went to bypass the rest ourselves. I didn’t make an appointment here, we were lucky all the doctors calmly and quickly transferred their notes, a catch happened again at the neurologistJ Our neurologist went on vacation and we drowned to replace her. It turned out that the record of the doctor who draws up the disability should be the first, and the neurologist wrote us the pencil first. After shaking hands between the offices, we nevertheless made a note and the next day we got ready documents to the psychiatrist. It turned out that over these days “power, that is, the forms have changed again.” I was no longer upset, but I set about going around the doctors for the third time as quickly as possible in order to be in time for the next change of these windy, constantly changing appearance guides. But not everything is so simple, now the ENT went to the hospital, but where ours did not disappear. We came to another lore and persuaded him to make a note to us, to the doctor’s quite reasonable question: “Is it so urgent?” my eye twitched and I assured him that the fourth round I could well not stand. And again, thanks to our psychiatrist, she took over some of the doctors, for which I am very, very grateful. A day later, all the notes were on the new form and the documents were accepted. It turned out that in psychiatry, ITU should be held in Krasnodar. It was a blow. Remembering what nerves we got after the trip, I was terribly nervous. But more about that below. I did not say that in addition to narrow specialists, we also went to the pediatrician, who also made an entry in the form with the conclusions of the doctors and filled out an extract from the history of development. If possible, warn your pediatrician that you will need such an extract, since it takes a long time to fill out. I came to the reception with a copy of the previous extract, which greatly facilitated and accelerated the process of filling out a new one.

In general, all the doctors we contacted are very friendly, often many finish the appointment an hour and a half after the formal appointment is over. For example, the third time I went to the optometrist at 18.20, while her appointment was until 17.00. It was very surprising and that it was pleasant that many remembered us, although we visited them only once for 10 minutes, it really struck me. And even despite the fact that the forms changed twice while we went through the commission, the impressions remained positive precisely thanks to the positive attitude of the doctors.

So, the documents were prepared and sealed with me by a psychiatrist in an envelope, I signed that I received them and sent the envelope to Krasnodar in ITU. On the notification, the address indicated her own in order to control the delivery process. After 2 weeks, they called me back and said that on 06.02 we were assigned a commission and by 9.15 we should arrive. In the conversation it turned out that in our documents there is not enough copy of my child and SNILS and we need to bring them. Having read passions on the Internet, I thought that if some kind of document is not enough we will be forced to prepare the whole package again, but it turned out, in fact, everything is simpler.

At 5 am on February 6th we went to Krasnodar. At 8.30 we were there. The good news was that we were lucky with the parking and we stopped in the immediate vicinity of the ITU building. They left our dad in the car and went with Alice together. Everything turned out to be much easier and calmer than I thought of myself. There were few people on the second floor where we were expecting the reception, it was light, there was a place to sit down. Alice behaved quietly, sharing a delicious treat with the boy next door. We did not have to wait long, at first the documents were taken from us, and at 9 they invited us into the office. Alice was called by name, asked to show where her mother was, asked to open a box, then a mirror, they asked me standard questions about complaints, problems, what we treat, how we do. After about 7 minutes they announced that they assigned Alice the category of a disabled child for a period of 5 years. Honestly, I did not expect. I was sure that they would give us one year disability. I calmly took Alice into the car and returned for a pink certificate. About 20 minutes and they called me again, issued a certificate, IPR, explained in detail where to go now and how to draw up benefits, wished success and health and said goodbye. We drove home in high spirits and a feeling of lightness, rather from the fact that everything went smoothly and without tantrums than from the fact that our saga ended successfully.

Summing up, I want to say that the process was not fast, but also not overly heavy. If you are mentally prepared to arrange your child’s disability feel free to arrange and read less horror movies from the Internet.
